Joanna Alexandra Norland

I am a UK-based author, writing instructor, and mother of two.  My plays, including Mothers Have Nine Lives, and Lizzy, Darcy and Jane, have been published and produced throughout the US, the UK, and Australia, and are posted on  the ProPlay Website.

I lead writing workshops in schools, libraries and professional settings.
I also serve as a picture book editor and writing coach.

I began writing stories and poems for the children I babysat, decades ago, and I began making up rhymes for my own duo while they were still in utero (my personal captive audience).  As a creative writing instructor, my guiding premise is that writing fuels robust mental healths, stronger connections, and richer parenting.  I launched Mums Write! to share what I have learned along the way.
